Overview

ZF self-sucking pump is a new generation of high-suction self-sucking chemical centrifugal pump; through structural improvement, while the product performance is greatly improved, the service life is also effectively prolonged; besides, this equipment obtains national patent. After being launched, ZF self-sucking pump will become one of the products with the strongest competitive force in current market by virtue of its high cost performance, and it is the best product used to replace single-stage single-suction centrifugal pump, submerged pump, and sinking pump. Besides, this product is made from RPP and PVDF.


RPP: It is of non-polarity, has no contaminative poison, and it can endure general acid, alkali, and halogen; the working temperature is -12℃-80℃.

PVDF: It is of non-polarity, has good air tightness and no contaminative poison; with good oxidation resistance and good mechanical property, it can endure strong oxidant, halogen, and aromatic solvent; the working temperature is -40-135. (It is recommended to us PVDF in case of solvent medium.)

The difference you should know

Since the thought of making the equipment with the lowest cost is proposed, ZF series self-sucking pump is one of the most successful products which implement this thought from design stage.

All PP self-sucking pumps in the market will meet those problems: 1. Excessive sealing surfaces. The new equipments are better; as for old equipments, it is easy to cause leakage on sealing surfaces, and then damage the equipments and cause pollution; the suctioning in pump will be completely leaked; the leaked liquid will corrode the inserts in pump and directly damage the equipments. This is a big problem. However, ZF pump only has one sealing surface, without any insert in pump. Due to one sealing surface, there are only few leakage points which can be easily found; even though there is a leakage, the equipment will be not damaged. Besides, this pump has high self-sucking height. 2. Mechanical seal problem. All pumps have mechanical seal problem. Except for normal wear of mechanical seal, there is abnormal damage in most time, which causes bigger loss. As for ZF pump, we use patent mechanical seal whose cooling surface is 3-6 times of that of conventional WB2 mechanical seal; furthermore, the cooling surface stretches into pump to damage the produced bubble so as to avoid occurrence of abnormal damage as much as possible.

In conclusion, ZF self-sucking pump has a service life much longer than same type of equipments in the market, and the replacement cost of its accessories is much lesser than that of same type of products in the market.

Comparison with self-sucking pump of some Taiwan brands and domestic imitations:

1. Few sealing surface. The double sealing surfaces are changed as single sealing surface. The inlet and pump body adopts integrated injection molding; the pump body and pump cover are connected via bolt and nut fitted outside, and there is no need to fix them via inserts, thus the situation that the pump is damaged via corroding inserts due to medium leakage will not happen. Therefore, this product has low use cost and few leakage points.

2. The mechanical seal is changed as fitted outside type from fitted inside type, thus the maintenance is easy and the anti-corrosion performance is stronger.

3. The impeller and axis adopt integrated injection molding (cutting after non-manual welding); the performance is stable; the metal pieces dont contact medium, with few spare and accessory parts; the pump is difficultly damaged; after damage, it can be easily maintained.


Comparison with common self-sucking pumps in domestic market:

1. Few sealing surface. The common self-sucking pumps in domestic market generally have 3 sealing surfaces, and 4 sealing surfaces at most; each sealing surface is fixed via bolts and inserts. In case of leakage, the inserts will be corroded, which results in damage on equipments, thus the use cost is very high. The self-sucking pump produced by our company adopts single sealing surface, and the sealing between pump body and pump cover is fixed via bolt and nut fitted outside. In the service life of pump materials, it is unnecessary to replace the materials.  

2. The seal cage is shrunk between pump body and pump cover on which is equipped with pilot pin; there is one-way valve equipped in pump so as to realize the effect of instant effluent upon second start-up.

3. Except for connection part of pump cover and motor, there is no insert design in whole equipment, thus the situation that the equipment is damaged via corroding inserts due to medium leakage will not happen. Therefore, the use cost is very low.

4. This product has a high self-sucking height. The national standard generally requires that the self-sucking height shall be up to 5m. Due to limited testing condition, it is measured that the self-sucking height is 6m. Through testing by use of method of equal effects, the theoretical height can be up to 9m.


Comparison with sinking pump, and submerged pump:

1. The sinking pump is generally used to transport clear water and river water; under the condition of transportation of corrosive liquid such as acid and alkali, the corrosion and electric leakage will easily happen, thus it is very unsafe.

2. Compared with submerged pump, the self-sucking pump cancels long axis and also cancels bearing problem, thus the maintenance period is greatly prolonged and the vibration is reduced.

3. In case of any damage, it is very convenient to carry out maintenance due to the fact that the maintenance part is on ground. The pump inlet is a hollow tube, thus the bottom valve is not needed. If the inlet part is obstructed by rubbish, it is able to clean the rubbish via dragging out the hollow tube; however, as for submerged pump, it is required to lift out the whole pump to clean the rubbish.

4. While the submerged pump is purchased, it is required to determine liquid-drawing depth; if the liquid depth is inconsistent with the length of pump axis, it is required to change the pump. However, as for self-sucking pump, it is able to draw the water of different depth without changing pump as long as the pipeline of different length is equipped.

5. Under the condition that the pump is fully injected with water, the idle operation can be still kept for a long time for the sake of finding misoperation and adopting measures to avoid damage on the equipments and reduce the loss caused by misoperation; therefore, this product has good security.  

6. The submerged pump must be installed above liquid. However, this self-sucking pump can be installed above liquid, or installed beside liquid, and it is able to even use vacuum-resisting hose to suck the liquid which the straight pipe cant reach. Therefore, this product has strong flexibility.

7. Due to frequent maintenance for submerged pump, one pool (tank) is generally with 2 sets of pumps, one of which is used for standby, thus there is large investment and maintenance. However, the self-sucking pump can realize series and parallel connection of multiple pools to share 1 pump so as to save the investment. The self-sucking pump can be used for discontinuous operation of air and liquid for no fear of evacuation, thus it is able to save some intermediate equipments such as head tank or lower tank in technological process, which greatly simplifies the technological process and saves the cost for you.

At your request, we give an explanation on the situation that our company uses S series type ZF self-sucking centrifugal pump:

In October 2010, we were suggested by your staff to purchase the 1st set of 50ZF12.5-12.5 self-sucking pump which had good service condition. In November 2010, we purchased the 2nd set of 50ZF12.5-20 self-sucking pump.

Through group research, we ordered 50 sets of 50ZF12.5-20 self-sucking pumps in February 2012, and then ordered 75 sets of self-sucking pumps of same model in June 2012. Except for use under the condition of height difference, we also use them into transportation of acid and alkali medium at normal position.

We agree with your concept of “making the equipment with the lowest cost” very much, and we also think that ZF pump also reflects this concept: minimum “purchase cost, maintenance cost, production suspension cost, environmental protection cost, and safety cost.
